Take it and go…

Two friends (thanks Moe and Andrea) introduced us to the shows of Russell Peters, a brilliant Canadian comedian who mainly makes fun of cultural stereotypes (mainly Asian) in his performances. Cracks us up every time we see it.

Having experienced a wide variety in cultures living together in Bahrain, one specific part of his show inspired us for naming our blog. The combination of 1) the hilariously recognisable accents and body language and 2) the message of grabbing an opportunity and just doing it, just made it spot on! Have a look yourself:

Nasi dvaja kamarati (diky, Moe a Andrea) nam predstavili brilantneho kanadskeho komedianta – Russell Peters. Russell si v jeho predstaveniach robi vacsinou srandu s kulturnych predsudkov (povacsine Azijskych narodov). Vzdy ked ho pozerame, tak sa z toho sulame smiechom.

Tym, ze sme mali moznost vidiet mnoho roznych narodnosti zijucich pospolu v Bahrajne, jedna konkretna cast z jeho show nas inspirovala k pomenovaniu nasho blogu. Kombinacia 1) vtipne rozpoznatelnych prizvukov a reci tela a 2) vyzva chytit prilezitost za pacesy, bola jasna! Pozrite sa sami na video (hore).
