Bahrain was our home since the end of 2010. We had a great time and here you’ll find an impression of what life there looked like.

The Kingdom of Bahrain is a teeny-tiny island in the Persian Gulf (see the red arrow on the top picture).

There are only a few landmarks… the World Trade Centre with its propellors (we still think that instead of generating energy for the building they are actually switched on every now and then, just for show).

The Financial Harbour and – hey! – The Domain with its upside-down triangle in the background.

The museum at Bahrain Fort has a nice exhibition and having a cup of coffee at the sundown can be a highlight of the weekend.

Or watch the sunset from our balcony ;)

And most importantly we met great friends
that made our Bahraini experience awesome!
