Hi, we are Lucia and Mark and this is our travel blog. Lucia (29) is Slovak and Mark (34) Dutch, however both of us have lived outside of our home countries for many years (Czech Republic, India, UK, South Africa and Bahrain). We met in Prague (Czech Republic) in 2007 and got married there just before we left for Bahrain in 2010.
Professionally, Lucia has been working as a brand manager / marketeer for various FMCG and retail companies for 7 years while Mark has over 8 years of experience in various roles in the health and hygiene B2B business.
Lucia enjoys DIY arts (sewing and jewellery), surfing the net, reading, eating spicy food and her eyewear (she has more pairs of glasses than shoes). Mark’s main interests are in sports (actively playing tennis and mountainbiking, actively watching football), travel (no surprise there), photography, any Asian type of food and non-fictional books. He’ll be adding travel writing to this list!

Ahoj! Vitajte na cestovatelskom blogu Marka a Lucie. Lucia (29) je zo Slovenska a Mark (34) z Holandska, ale obidvaja sme si zazili uz pobyty v zahranici (Cechy, India, Anglicko, Juzna Afrika a Bahrajn). Stretli sme sa v Prahe v roku 2007 a vzali sa tesne pred odchodom do Bahrajnu v roku 2010.
Lucia ma za sebou 7 rokov marketingu a brand managementu v oblastiach FMCG a retail a Mark vyse 8 rokov v roznych poziciach v B2B v oblasti zdravia a hygieny.
Luciine konicky su ‘do-it-yourself’ alebo ‘urob-si-sam’ (sitie a vyroba sperkov), surfovanie na nete, knihy, palive jedlo a jej zbierka okuliarov (ktorych ma dokonca viac nez parov topanok). Mark si hlavne uziva sport (aktivne hra tenis, jazdi na horskom bicykli a aktivne sleduje futbal), cestovanie (prekvapko!), fotografovanie, akekolvek Azijske jedlo a non-fiction literaturu. Coskoro prida na zoznam i cestovatelske pisanie!
Tak a teraz ked viete trochu viac o nas, tuto si mozete precitat viac o nasom rozhodnuti rok cestovat.
